KSG and Dublin Airport are pleased to announce a new partnership that will revolutionize the dining experience at Dublin Airport in 2024.




This exciting collaboration will see KSG, Ireland's leading Food Service Specialists, operating fifteen new Cafes, Bars, and restaurants across terminal 1 and 2 in Dublin airport. The contract spans over a 10-year period, with the restaurants set to open in stages from early 2024 to Spring 2025. This partnership further strengthens KSG's commitment to providing exceptional food and coffee offerings at Dublin Airport.

The diverse range of culinary delights available at the new dining options will cater to the preferences of all airport visitors. Terminal One will showcase an alluring food hall named The Lambay Way with an elegant Italian restaurant, specialty coffee roasted on-site, and a wide array of international flavours, our aim is to provide a rich variety of offerings for all customers to savour.


The Lambay Way Foodhall, a new food and beverage experience that embodies the essence of Irish culture will feature a diverse range of food options, including established concepts and bespoke brands. With something for everyone, this area will cater to solo passengers, groups, and families. Enjoy a connected dining experience which will enhance the passenger experience, providing passengers with the unique opportunity to purchase food from multiple units and that they can sit together to enjoy their food and beverage purchases.  

 

In addition to these exciting offerings, KSG is proud to partner with renowned high street brands for this contract. Airport visitors will have the pleasure of enjoying Irish coffee chain Insomnia, Jump Juice, Pret a Manger, and Butlers Coffee, as well as an exhilarating Guinness experience in partnership with Diageo. This collaboration promises to elevate the dining experience at Dublin Airport to new heights.

 

The forthcoming establishments include

o   Italian Quarter- One of the highlights will be the Italian Quarter, offering delicious Italian cuisine made with fresh, local, seasonal produce in a beautiful sit-down restaurant with table service.

o   BlueBird Coffee Roasters and Wine Bar- will take centre stage in the concourse with this speciality coffee brand and the theatre of roasting speciality green beans as well as operating as a natural wine bar serving Irish meat and cheese boards.

o   KimBok-  Korean style eggs for breakfast will certainly excite but the real speciality is a Korean Fried Chicken Burger, that brings together the juicy flavours of Korean cuisine with the familiarity of a classic burger.

o   Boxx- is an fast service format serving breakfast in the morning and flipping to an Global fusion menu in the afternoon.

o   Nomad- flexitarian fast casual restaurant that focuses on offering our passengers clean, healthy and wholesome food.

o   Street Kitchen- a vibrant Mexican taqueria serving burritos and tacos with a new Mexican bar – Cantina which will serve mojitos, cocktails, mocktails and Mexican beers.

o   Authur Guinness Bar- in partnership with Diageo offers an authentic Guinness experience. Surging with ‘passion, energy and shared optimism’, tones of warm gold and light natural wood provide a premium, quality, inviting and magnetic space that is as equal and memorable as the quality of Guinness.

o   Pret A Manger- Industry leader and well known Pret offers a selection of freshly made sandwiches, salads, and snacks for passengers seeking a quick and satisfying meal.

o   Cuan- Irish/Gaeilge (cooh-ahn). A sheltered indentation on a shoreline, a harbour or bay. The final cosy nook to pick up a pint or some food before you set off on your adventure.

o   Lilians- an all-day restaurant and bar inspired by the iconic  Lilian Bland who is believed to be the first woman to design, build and fly her own aeroplane.

o   Jump Juice- is a bespoke, popular, Irish owned fresh fruit juice and smoothie provider, specialising in offering a wide variety of nutritious and delicious beverages made from fresh fruits and vegetables.

o   Insomnia-  an iconic Irish brand showcasing Irish coffee innovation and culture.

o   Butlers Café- Experience two pleasures together, delicious coffee and luxury chocolates at Butlers Chocolate Café

o   Fitzgerald’s Restaurant & Bar offers a casual dining format made with the best, seasonal local, and fresh seasonal produce. The name is inspired by Desmond FitzGerald, the Irish architect, whose most notable work is the original Dublin Airport terminal building.

o   Roasted Notes- will deliver top level speciality coffee and all-day breakfast, salads and flatbreads and sandwiches to terminal 2.

 

KSG will be involved in all business decisions for the new concepts as well as the daily operations of all units.


Technology will have a significant impact on the creation of a smooth customer experience. Every restaurant will be equipped with pre-order kiosks and fast pick-up areas to cater to those who are pressed for time. Additionally, the utilization of QR code ordering and pre-order apps will further enhance the efficiency of the customer experience. Moreover, the implementation of high impact digital signage will effectively communicate menus, order wait times, and collection zones, ensuring clarity for customers.

 

It is our goal to ensure that our restaurants not only provide aesthetically pleasing environments, but also contribute positively to the local community and minimize their impact on the environment.


As a dedicated member of Origin Green, we prioritize sustainability in the design of all our concepts. Our commitment to environmentally friendly practices is unwavering, and we strive to minimize our environmental impact from construction to operations. We recognize the importance of circularity and take pride in our collaboration with various Irish social enterprises to support the low carbon circular economy. In line with our sustainability goals, we aim to provide reusable cups and plates as the primary option for grab & go customers, reducing the need for disposable items.


Whenever possible, local Irish produce will be sourced, with suppliers like Keeling's providing vegetables grown within a 7km radius of Dublin Airport, ensuring a true farm-to-fork approach to our menus.
