KSG is a specialist restaurant and food services company and our mission is to deliver excellence in food and service to enhance the daily culinary experiences of our customers. We are a dynamic, flexible and vibrant organisation and we deliver restaurant, café and hospitality services in 120 locations in Ireland – we serve 13 million meals per year and we employ 1,350 skilled people across our business. As an organisation we focus only on food services - this enables us to deliver bespoke, high quality and innovative formats for our clients. We deliver our services across five industry sectors – Professional Offices, Travel & Leisure, Retail, Third Level Education and Healthcare.
CITY & GUILDS
TRAINING ACADEMY
Training and development is a central part of our activities and our 10,000 square feet Training Academy in North Dublin is a fully certified City & Guilds centre which enables us to design and deliver an array of training and development courses to support our activities – our company has grown significantly in the last 5 years and our investment and strategic focus on training systems has efficiently supported our expansion and growth.
We are a wholly Irish owned company and the company has a long tradition in the food industry in Ireland which dates back to the early 1920’s.

OUR HISTORY
The company’s roots date back to 1920 when members of the Hogan family started selling fresh bakery products in central Dublin to fans travelling to the All-Ireland football and hurling finals and from this initial activity a Kylemore Bakery facility was launched in Store Street, Dublin 1. Kylemore Bakery become the largest fresh bakery in Ireland in the 1980’s and 1990’s with the business expanding to supply supermarket chains nationwide and a chain of retail bakery shops. In 2005 the company launched a Catering Services division called KSG Catering, this entity has grown significantly with these services representing over 90 percent of company turnover. KSG is a trusted partner to many of Ireland’s large blue-chip employers including Microsoft, KPMG, Accenture, MSD, Pfizer, Deloitte, William Fry Solicitors to name but a few.
Brian Hogan former Chief Executive and grandson of the company founder received the EY Entrepreneur of the year award 2013 validating the company’s continuous evolution and transition of the business over time. The company shareholders are the Hogan family, DCC Plc and Michael Gleeson, Chief Executive Officer.
